This dice game encourages early strategic thinking as players engage with a simple press-your-luck mechanism. The players are foxes chasing a hen around the farm yard, but their movements are a bit chaotic. The active player will roll each of the four dice separately. After each roll, she/he will have to assign the die result to one of the foxes in the game such that in each turn each of the four foxes (four foxes no matter how many actual players) will move forward spaces as assigned by the selected die for each fox. The challenge is to move your fox ahead by selecting the highest numbers for your fox when you are rolling. Not so easy to do; remember, each die is rolled and assigned separately. Will you settle for moving four spaces or give that up and press your luck for a better roll later?
